Games and format
Which games can we choose for our corporate team event?
You can choose between three games. The Vinci Challenge is a creative indoor game with augmented reality. The Zodiac Challenge is a detective game that relies on open communication between teams. The Aztec Challenge is our active outdoor expedition with GPS tablets.
How long does a game take?
The Vinci Challenge takes 120 minutes, the Zodiac Challenge 90 minutes and the Aztec Challenge 120 to 150 minutes. Add some time for the welcome, team allocation and the awards ceremony at the end.
What makes Challengebox different from a classic escape room?
Instead of locking your team in a room, we bring the escape room to you. Teams solve puzzles in handcrafted wooden chests, combine logic with hands-on challenges and smart technology, and compete against each other – but only win if they also work together across groups. That makes every game a real corporate team event, not just a fun activity.
In which languages are the games available?
English, German and French. Mixed-language groups are no problem.
Group size and location
How many people can take part?
Each game hosts 6 to 100 people, playing in teams of 6–8. For larger indoor events, we combine the Vinci and Zodiac Challenges for up to 200 participants. Together with the Aztec Challenge outdoors, all three games offer a capacity of up to 300 people at one event.
Where can the games take place?
Anywhere in Switzerland. The Vinci and Zodiac Challenges are played at tables – in your office, a hotel or seminar venue, or outdoors on a terrace or in a garden. The Aztec Challenge is our active outdoor game, where teams explore the area on foot.
What happens if it rains?
The Aztec Challenge uses fully weatherproof equipment and can be played all year round. The Vinci and Zodiac Challenges are simply played indoors.
Can we play the Aztec Challenge in the evening?
Yes. For evening events, we add flashlights, headlamps and atmospheric LED lanterns along the route.
Prices and booking for your corporate team event
How much does a corporate team event with Challengebox cost?
Prices start from CHF 39 per person and depend on your group size:
- Up to 16 people: CHF 59 per person
- 17 to 44 people: CHF 49 per person
- 45 people or more: CHF 39 per person
The game master and logistics (delivery to your venue) are charged separately, depending on your location.
What does our game master do?
Our game master sets up the game, welcomes your group, divides everyone into teams, guides you through the game and hosts the awards ceremony at the end. You simply enjoy the event. For groups of up to around 40 people, one game master runs the event. From 40 to 80 people, two game masters are on site, and for larger groups we add more depending on the group size.
How do we book?
For a private corporate team event, request a free quote with your preferred date, location and group size. You’ll receive a tailored offer within one business day. Public team battles at Predigerplatz can be booked directly online on our upcoming events page.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible, especially for Christmas parties and summer events, when popular dates fill up quickly.
Can private groups and schools book too?
Yes. Besides companies, we also organise games for private celebrations, schools and associations. Just mention your group type in the request form.
Can we join a public team battle in Zurich?
Yes. On selected weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), we host public team battles at our venue at Predigerplatz 22 in Zurich’s old town. Up to six teams compete at the same time in a 120-minute session – and the winning team of the weekend gets a tree planted in the rainforest. Perfect for a smaller corporate team event or a weekend outing with friends. You’ll find all dates on our upcoming events page.
How much does a public team battle cost?
CHF 67 per team, with a maximum of 5 people per team. A session takes place once at least three teams have registered. If this minimum isn’t reached, we’ll let you know 48 hours in advance and refund your booking in full.
